- 1) A photograph of the painting is scanned into the
computer where the image is sized into either an 8" x 10" or
11" x 14" horizontal or vertical format.
Adjustments can also be made at this time in
terms of color, contrast, etc.
- 2) The image is printed onto a heavy weight vellum bristol paper.
- 3) The artist applies paint to certain areas to bring out the color, texture, and the light.
In addition to giving the print more vitality, the embellishment also increases its durability, giving it almost the appearance of a miniature painting. These embellished prints give the customer the opportunity to acquire a beautiful piece of art at very reasonable prices.
